Recipe of the Month

Forgotten Chicken
3 skinless chicken breast or other chicken pieces (enough to cover the top of the pan)
2 cups uncooked rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 cans of milk or water
1 envelope of French onion soup mix
Salt & pepper to taste

Combine rice with the soups and liquid.
Pour into greased 9x13 pan
Sprinkle half the onion soup mix on top of rice
Add salt and pepper
Place chicken on top of the rice
Sprinkle with 2nd half of the dry soup mix
Cover tightly with foil
Bake in slow oven @ 325 for 2 and a half hours
(You can bake it at 300 and when you get home from the 3 hour church block ....it will be done)
